Fine Art Commissions

One-of-a-kind artwork thoughtfully created for your unique space

Approaching the easel with a background in interior design, Linsey works one-on-one with designers, home owners, and business owners to create original works of art in her current style and with its intended environment in mind.

As a Fine Art Commission client, you’ll have a choice in the following:

Size & Orientation

Carefully considering where you intend to display your commissioned piece, the dimensions and orientation (portrait versus landscape) are up to you and/or your designer. Photos and dimensions of the space are critical in helping Linsey better understand your space and weigh in on the right scale and placement.

5 sq. ft. minimum for all commissioned artwork

Overall Tone & Feeling

What about Linsey’s current body of work are you most drawn to... The dark and layered landscapes, the more loose and expressive compositions, or the lighter pieces with warm undertones featuring my eraser method? Forest vs. meadow? Ridge lines in the distance? Is the moon a must-have?

Beyond these general preferences, the rest of the piece is up to Linsey to ensure you receive a truly authentic work of art aligned with her current style and artistic brand.

Linsey does not work off of photographs or specific landscapes.

Framing

Linsey currently offer two signature framing styles for her charcoal and soft pastels work.

Cradled
Closely resembling a gallery wrapped canvas, cradled panels measure between 1-1/2” to 2” in depth and feature handmade wood frames that extend about 1/2” past the artwork surface as an additional layer of protection. These frames are typically crafted out of poplar with a clear matte finish, however you are welcome to choose from a carefully curated selection of alternative frame finishes that align with Linsey’s work while providing a customized experience.

Glass-Framed
Flat sheets of wood that measure 1/8” to 1/4” in thickness and feature margins in place of traditional matting. Within these exposed borders, taped off during the art process, the grain pattern continues beyond the artwork, adding a subtle warmth and another layer of authenticity to the piece. In partnership with a local fabricator, Linsey leads the framing process with hand-selected finish options for you to choose from.

Glass-framed pieces require an additional fee starting at $500 with the total dependent on artwork size, frame finish, etc. Custom glass-frame quotes available upon request.
